Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is part of an extended family of Robertses, the 4th generation that live in the Atlanta area beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. At an early age, her father became interested in theater. As studying at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. He joined the military in the year 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi, he appeared in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the air force. In 1955, the couple married and in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. In 1957 the couple left the air force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. The family relocated in 1960 in Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local Saturday morning children's TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they themselves funded. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter established their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The program ran for the duration of six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also also known as Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) throughout this time.
