Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams is born in Italy while her father served as a soldier in the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The mid-1990s saw her begin doing professional dance and performance at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she joined a regional theatre located in Minnesota in which she was featured as a character in a film mock documentary concerning beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her move to Los Angeles after making her debut on screen as an innocent, but funny contestant. Her husband Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 until September 1992. She had two children, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began when she signed an MGM contract in the late 1940s. The actress was discovered by actress and model Norma shearer. Through the years that followed her appearances in many famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
